Privacy Policy

Uraion Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and related pages (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit the Site and how we protect visitors, including children under 13 years of age in the United States.

Summary

  • We do not require an account, sell personal information, or run advertising trackers on the Site.
  • We do not collect personal information from you simply because you browse the Site.
  • We maintain aggregate visitor counts (for example, total visits) to understand general traffic levels. These counts are not used to identify you.
  • We receive personal information only if you choose to submit our contact form—and only then to respond to your inquiry.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The contact form is not for use by children under 13.

Scope

This policy applies to information handled through the public Site. It does not cover offline activities, separate research agreements, or third-party websites linked from the Site.

What we collect

Browsing the Site (no form submission)

When you read pages on the Site without contacting us, we do not ask for your name, email, or other contact details, and we do not build a profile of you for marketing.

Aggregate visitor metrics. We record how many people visit the Site—for example, total page views or approximate unique visitor counts over a period. These figures are statistical summaries only. They are not combined with contact-form data to identify individual visitors, and we do not use them for targeted advertising.

Technical delivery. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure must process limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and requested page) to deliver the Site securely. We rely on this data only for operation and security, not to track your behavior across other sites or to sell information.

Theme preference on your device. If you use the light/dark theme control, your choice may be stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key uraion-theme. That value stays on your device and is not transmitted to us as personal information.

Fonts. We load typography from Google Fonts. Google may receive standard request data (such as IP address) when your browser fetches font files. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles that data.

Contact form (voluntary)

If you submit an inquiry through the contact form, we receive the fields you provide, which may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Area of interest (selected option)
  • Message content (optional)
  • Your confirmation of age and eligibility as described in Children under 13 below

Do not include sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or financial account numbers) unless we explicitly request it.

Children under 13 (U.S. COPPA)

The Site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age.

  • No child-directed data collection. Simply visiting the Site does not require a child to provide personal information, and our aggregate visitor counts do not identify individual children or adults.
  • Contact form restricted. The contact form may be used only by individuals who are at least 13 years of age, or by parents and legal guardians submitting in their own capacity—not on behalf of a child under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the contact form or send us personal information.
  • Parental notice. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 submitted personal information through the contact form, please contact us using the contact form (from your own account) or the instructions in Contact us below. We will take steps to delete that information promptly after verifying the request.

We do not condition a child’s participation in any online activity on the Site on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary, because we do not offer child-specific accounts or interactive services that require such information.

How we use information

We use information only as follows:

  • Aggregate metrics: to understand overall Site traffic and improve reliability.
  • Contact form data: to read and respond to your inquiry, and to maintain a reasonable record of correspondence if needed.
  • Technical logs: to secure and operate the Site, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.

We do not use Site data for behavioral advertising or to sell personal information.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers that help us host the Site, deliver email (if configured for the contact form), or operate infrastructure—bound to use data only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.

Retention

Aggregate visitor statistics may be kept for as long as needed for traffic analysis. Contact-form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable business record-keeping, unless a longer period is required by law. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we collect little personal information and only through the contact form, many requests will simply confirm that we have no record of you unless you have contacted us.

To exercise these rights, use the contact form and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where applicable law prohibits such discrimination.

California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland: where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases typically include legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, and consent or contract performance when you contact us. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
